I got a healthy three hours last night.

Kinja'd!!!

They admitted my wife to the hospital for 24 hours. She had high blood pressure and blood in her urine so they have to do about a thousand tests to figure that out since it doesn’t seem to be a UTI or a bladder infection. Sigh. I’m a ball of nerves, here.

She’s 26 weeks pregnant (will be 27 on Saturday), and baby is fine. Just makes me nervous, still. :-/

Prayers and good thoughts/vibes are appreciated.

I was a nervous wreck when my wife was pregnant, and we never really had any complications. Best wishes to you both.

You can sleep when you’re dead.

Good vibes coming your way.

Any parent can sympathize with the lack of sleep. We’ve all been there.

For those who are contemplating children, I suggest a small dog with bladder issues. Getting up in the middle of the night to let the dog affects your sleep patterns in much the same way as a small child. Hear a noise, get out of bed, retrieve noisemaker, attend to noisemaker’s needs, wait until noisemaker goes back to sleep, go back to bed.

Know the feels, I’m glad to be through the pregnancy game..

If it’s any consolation kids are extremely tough. (I keep telling myself as they dive off couches, fall out of trees, eat dirt, and otherwise be kids..)

I raise my coffee to you this morning, cheers!

lack of sleep has started already....

my son is 1 year old and in the last 365 days, he only let me and my wife have 3 complete nights....

the first 6 months i was averaging 3 hours of sleep per night...

Doctors love to stress you out. It’s a game!

Before our daughter was born, we were told she had a liver problem that the second doctor told us after a month of freaking out that she could never have had at that point in the pregnancy. I feel your frustration and will be sending prayers your way brother.
